Be better, two words that can make all the difference in the world.  It separates good from great.  Be better, offers an exchange of ordinary experiences for extraordinary.

Being the person people want to follow should be the aspirational goal for all of us.  It is the identifying mark of a leader. 

A great challenge of life and leadership is to maintain a childish perspective.  A perspective free of tainted experiences. One that allows us to look at the world with the clear eyesight of a child. 

There is plenty to be learned in seasons of scarcity.  While scarce seasons lack resources, there is no shortage of opportunities.  There is sufficiency found within the insufficiency.  It just requires the right perspective. 

What will they say?  A defining question in life and leadership.  The answer will be found in the words of those whose lives we have Interceded along our journey.

Coaches are leaders, leaders are coaches. The lessons learned in coaching, apply to leading. All day, every day.

The tensions of leadership can pull us in many directions. Strike imbalance, treat people differently, and when all else fails, be authentically and genuinely you.

As a father of two kids, I have always been called to be their protector. Leadership has the same calling. It’s a Superpower that is only entrusted to those responsible for the well-being of others.
